We have chosen the iPhone SE to film our thriller opening due to its camera capabilities, it can film in up to 4K (Which is the best quality around at the moment), we have decided not to use either of Cameron's cameras as they only film up to 1080p and aren't as good as Ben's phone.
Obviously we wouldn't edit on the phone we would only use it strictly for filming and nothing else.
To help keep steadiness while filming we could purchase a phone tripod in a local shop, it wouldn't cost a lost and it would help us massively with keeping the camera steady.
